Do you teach laser tattoo removal?
Yes. Tattoo removal is part of the Q-switch laser workshop, along with carbon laser, eyebrow hair whitening and skin rejuvenation. It is non-accredited training.
Which laser removal course is nationally recognised?
Laser hair reduction. You complete SHBBHRS005 and SHBBHRS007 and receive a Statement of Attainment once you are assessed competent.
How much does it cost?
$5,000 for both units, with a payment plan available. The final payment is due before your Statement of Attainment is issued.
Do I need a licence to use a laser?
It depends on your state. Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania require a separate licence from the state radiation regulator to operate cosmetic lasers. Your training supports a licence application but is not the licence itself. Check the current rules where you plan to work.
