Will I practise on real clients?
Yes. Your practical days are spent providing laser hair reduction treatments on live models under trainer supervision.
Do I need experience before the training?
The units build on some background in beauty or skin treatments, including skin anatomy, contraindications and client consultation. If you are unsure, call the academy and we will talk through your experience.
How much does it cost?
$5,000 for both units, with a payment plan available. The final payment is due before your Statement of Attainment is issued.
Do I need a licence to use a laser?
It depends on your state. Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania require a separate licence from the state radiation regulator to operate cosmetic lasers. Your training supports a licence application but is not the licence itself. Check the current rules where you plan to work.
