About This Course
This industry-based short course provides training in the carbon laser facial, also known as the Hollywood Peel, for skin rejuvenation, pore refinement, and pigmentation treatment. The course covers carbon lotion application, Q-switched Nd:YAG laser settings and technique, treatment protocols, skin benefits, contraindications, and post-treatment protocols. The carbon laser facial is a popular treatment for oily skin, enlarged pores, acne, and uneven skin tone. Subject to state and territory laser licensing requirements.
The use of laser devices is subject to legislation, regulation, and licensing in some Australian states and territories. Please check your local requirements before operating laser equipment professionally.
This is an industry-based course. It is not a nationally recognised qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Participants will receive a certificate of completion from Urban Skin Academy.

Entry Requirements
Participants should have a background in beauty therapy or skin care. Subject to state/territory licensing requirements for laser operation. Prior laser or IPL training is recommended.
