Nationally recognised training in lash and brow services, covering eyelash lifting, eyebrow shaping and tinting to a professional standard. Delivered against SHBBFAS004 Provide lash and brow services. Includes a complimentary non-accredited workshop in eyebrow mapping and lamination, and a full lamination, lifting and tinting kit to take away.
To enrol in this course, you must meet the following requirements:
Theory is completed online before you attend. The practical component is face-to-face at our Bankstown campus in small groups with supervised practice. Delivered in NSW only.
This is nationally recognised training delivered by Urban Skin Academy, RTO 46587. Each unit is assessed as Competent or Not Yet Competent against the national unit requirements. On successful completion you receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment listing the units achieved. The eyebrow mapping and lamination session included with this course is NOT nationally recognised and is not assessed. It does not form part of your Statement of Attainment.
The lash and brow component of this course is nationally recognised training delivered by Urban Skin Academy, RTO 46587, against SHBBFAS004 Provide lash and brow services. On successful completion you receive a Statement of Attainment recognised across Australia.
Your enrolment includes a free session in eyebrow mapping and lamination. This session is NOT nationally recognised training. It does not carry a national code, it is not assessed, and it does not appear on your Statement of Attainment. There is no national unit of competency for brow lamination, so it cannot be delivered as accredited training by any provider.
Photo identification, your USI, closed-in flat shoes and a notepad. All product and materials used across the two days are provided, and your kit is supplied on the day.

If you already hold any of the units in this course, credit transfer applies and reduces your course length and fee. If you have relevant industry experience without formal qualifications, you can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning. Both are assessed before your enrolment is finalised.

There is no national unit of competency for brow lamination, so no training provider in Australia can deliver it as accredited training. We include it because clients ask for it, but we will not present it as something it is not.

Yes. A USI is required by law before we can issue a Statement of Attainment. It is free at usi.gov.au and we can help you set one up at enrolment.
Yes. SHBBFAS004 is a core unit of SHB50121 Diploma of Beauty Therapy, so completing it here means credit transfer if you go on to enrol in the full qualification.
